Generosity is the only investment with a guaranteed return.

Would you want to be seen as the person who never gives? Most of us wouldn't. We admire the generous, yet we often let financial priorities stop us from being the person who sends the gift or makes the donation.

I've started looking at giving gifts as an investment.

Psychologically, giving away resources proves to your subconscious that you have more than enough. It shifts your mindset to that of an abundance. There’s also the social reality: Nobody aspires to be the "stingy" person in the room. We gravitate toward those who are open-handed.

So the conclusion is, if you are thinking about sending a gift, do it. Giving is never a bad decision.
